Hardkour Skate Decks
The work in this gallery highlights some of the most epic competitive moments from events such as Spartan, DEKA, and Hyrox. The images are emulsion lifts adhered to skate decks. These moments encapsulate some sense of overcoming, struggle, and/or perseverance. These aspects are some of the largest driving forces to individuals who compete in these events. This spirit is also embodied in the culture of skateboarding. This work exemplifies the idea of Counter Culture that exists between the two communities.
